Cowboy and Indian Portraits

For my Digital Imaging class, on Valentines day we took of field trip. These are some portraits I took during the trip to Bannack Ghost town in Montana.

This was probably my absolute favorite picture, the colors came out really nicely, Katie did a really good job modeling. The blurred snow adds an authentic feel to the image, I really like the way she is positioned with the bone over her shoulder and everything. Her eyes are really striking, the reds and blues seem to really come out in this image and I really like it.

I really like the way he is posed in this image. We had all kinds of fun lighting devices to get this picture. It was kind of difficult to get some nice pictures with other students standing in the way but I think I did get some really good ones. I told him how to position his head in this image, another student advised him on his sitting position with the gun. I got some really nice background blur in both images.
