For my Visual media class I was to design a brochure this is What I came up with: The Front View of My Brochure: This Brochure has 5 different sections, each section has a page that overlaps the previous page just enough so you can see the titles of each section. This was an assignment for my Writing for Communications Class:    1.  An 11-year-old girl was found dead last Saturday after reported missing for two days. The girl was identified as Sally Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jones.   The causes of her death were reported as sexual assault and strangling. According to the county coroner, the girl had been dead since Thursday, June 20.   A week after the body was recovered, a 23-year-old man identified as William J. The following is a story written for my Writing for Communications Class. The story came from material that was given to me in class:   A student of Madison High School was pronounced dead at Eastern Idaho Medical center after being hit by a pick up truck.     Melissa J. Green and friend, Vinnie Sabre were headed to a baseball game at Madison High School on Nov. 7, the two of them were walking across the crosswalk on Emerald street  when a distracted driver hit the Green. The accident was reported to Officer John Szchepanski at 5:16 that evening.     Sabre informed Officer  Szchepanski that he heard screeching tires and saw Green hit the roof of the truck and then hit the ground quite a distance away from the vehicle. The following was an observation exercise for my Writing for Communications Class, I chose a place on campus and observed that location for a while. I did not reveal my subject in this piece:  Nervous tapping. Re-adjusting. No Eye contact. No words. Although the minds of each and every individual is anxiously screaming out for help. Thoughts like, “I should have studied more” or “This was never taught in class” are racing through the room. No one can look up in fear that they may be asked to leave. Tornado in Madison County

The following is a story derived from the image information below about a fictional tornado. This was an assignment for my Writing for Communications class. Friday November 1st– Four bodies and a destroyed house were found this morning from a Tornado 15 miles West of Old Butte Road. One survivor was found in critical condition.   Madison County duty, John Schmidt drove by the tornado sighting this morning and spotted a house that was affected by this disaster. Emergency services were contacted, however it took approximately 45 minutes for services to arrive. These are a few samples of special leads I wrote for my Writing for Communications class from the following material: Narrative: Chicago Tribune- Some of the hottest days have come to the city, it’s the perfect tanning weather, a good time to take your bike out and simply enjoy the sunshine. Temperatures as high as the 80s have made for many eventful days in the city, beaches have closed, parks are filled and summer has arrived.   Contrast: Chicago Tribune-Reflecting back on last year’s weather on March 22nd, the high temperature was as low as 33 degrees. In my Communications Writing class I was required to write an “About me” piece but in Second person: Marisa Reeves grew up living with her mom and three sisters in Eagle Mountain, Utah. She began her career path by studying Interior Design. Marisa had prepared to be an Interior Designer in many ways: she was involved in FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) to be able to participate in Interior Design competitions, she designed a model home as a school district project, she took classes through her high school and researched Interior Design as much as possible. This is an organization designed for students who are interested in Public Relations (Which is my area of study, with my focus on Event Management).
