Camera Raw Edits from the Park

These images were edited using primarily Camera Raw editing. These images were taken at a park near my house. This was my first experience editing with camera raw.

Here is an Image before it was editing in Camera Raw:

Here is the image after it was edited in camera raw:

Like I said, this was my first experience editing with camera raw so it was a little tricky to figure it out. The biggest thing I did for this picture was bringing out the color in the playground, in the original it looked pretty dull. I also brightened the snow. I really liked the sun in the original picture however the light in the image made everything else so dark, I was still able to bring out the colors and bring in some light to the original dark image.

I was able to brighten the playground equipment in camera raw, then I brought the image into photoshop and took out all the blue, added a mask and brought the blue back in on the playground equipment and the sky, I just wanted the blue out of the snow. Getting rid of some of the blue and later replacing it gave some depth to the playground. I also added a warming filter to this image.
