Past Photos

For my Digital Imaging class our first project was to collect a few pictures I have taken from the past, so here they are:

1. citycreek

This picture was taken March 16th 2012 at night time. The picture was taken at City Center in Salt Lake City Utah. The picture was captured with a Kodak Easy-share c195 point and shoot digital camera. The shutter speed was 1/8 of a second and the F-stop was f/3.3. City Creek is one of my very favorite places to take pictures, the overall design concept of City Creek Center is absolutely gorgeous!

This photo was taken in the Ricks Gardens at BYU-Idaho when my sisters came for a visit. This image was captured October 11th 2013 at 3:08 pm, shot with a Nikon D3100 using a kit lens. The shutter speed was 1/125 of a second and the f-stop was f-8. I had a lot of fun chasing my sisters up and down the gardens while they played.

This photo was taken with a tripod and a timer, taken on January 2nd 2014 at 3:24pm with a Nikon D3100. The Shutter speed was 1/500sec and the F-stop was f/8. The Castles were beautiful and so fun to take pictures in.

  1. I really enjoyed the picture of your sister with the princess dress. I like the composition of her being within that window space while holding the dress. It really brings emphasis and a story to what’s happening. I also really enjoyed how much the eyes popped on the picture of the young girl in the ice castle portrait. Again, well composed. I might suggest gettting the focus that you want in each photo the way you want it. On one of these, the young girl is out of focus and probably could be more (or less) however you intended it. Overall, AWESOME!

I love your pictures, especially the last one of your sister. Absolutely beautiful, I really enjoyed how she was framed by the ice around her especially with the contrast of her dark colors and the clear of the ice.
